Working description
- Based on the survey, determining the supports can be conducted either online or offline. For offline conditions, there are 113 points estimated to take around 10 days. If necessary, a Hand Cutting Machine will be used to cut the support.
- For online conditions, there are 142 points estimated to be completed at a rate of 2 points per day. Ringlock scaffolding will be erected for easy access to the workplace.
- Using Ringlock scaffolding to work at heights.
- Reinforced BS1139 scaffolding used to support gas pipelines.
- Removing pipe supports to gain access to corrosion points.
- Utilizing high-pressure water cleaning at 300-350 bar to remove debris and contaminants.
- Implementing measures to protect the work area and prevent dust and other forms of contamination from affecting nearby equipment.
- Applying slurry blast cleaning on the corrosion points to minimize sparks.
- Conducting Ultrasonic Tests to assess pipe thickness and generate a comprehensive report.
- For thickness loss, we use Belzona 1161 (Super UnderWater-Meta), a two-part composite material with a surface-tolerant epoxy resin and silicon steel alloy, to restore the original thickness.
