Within the wind turbine industry, collecting measurements of wind such as wind flow, wind speed, air temperature, and water column height is absolutely crucial to perform more effectively and safely. For this particular purpose, VIVABLAST introduces you to the Met Mast (Onshore) and the Floating LIDAR Buoy (Offshore) – designed specifically for wind data collection.
Met mast Supply and Installation
VIVABLAST offers the full package of the meteorological mast at several heights from 120 to 160 meters in compliance with international standards. We can supply the mast and equipment and provide service of installation and commissioning of all kinds of mast globally.
Below are our met mast services:
- Measurement system designing and configuration;
- Instrumentation supply;
- Met mast erection;
- Met mast de-erection;
- Met mast maintenance

Floating LIDAR Buoy
VIVABLAST supports developers and operators of offshore wind energy power plants by providing innovative wind resource assessment, Floating LIDAR Buoy (Light Detection and Ranging). The centerpiece of the instrumentation suite for each buoy is a motion-corrected LIDAR system that provides profiles of the wind speed and direction up to 300 meters above the sea surface.
Our performance data will be transmitted daily, and our LIDAR system is verified by DNV GL on the Carbon Trust Offshore Wind Accelerator (OWA) Roadmap, which is a guideline for the commercial acceptance of floating LiDAR technology.
Lidar Wind Measurement
LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology is revolutionizing wind measurement campaigns. Unlike traditional methods, Lidar provides accurate, bankable data that adheres to international standards like IEC. At VIVABLAST, we leverage our extensive experience and technical expertise in the wind market to deliver top-notch Lidar wind measurement solutions.
