Build to Last 2026 – Connecting Sustainable Construction Solutions
Vietnam is entering a critical phase of transformation — shifting from rapid growth to long-term, sustainable development. In this context, Build to Last 2026 serves as a strategic dialogue platform, bringing together businesses, experts, and partners to share perspectives and solutions for the future of sustainable urban development in Vietnam.
The event is organized by CCIFV, under the patronage of the French Embassy in Vietnam, as part of the Year of Innovation initiative. It is expected to welcome 700 participants, feature more than 15 corporate speakers, and include a dedicated exhibition area.
As a Gold Sponsor, VIVABLAST participated in the event through several key activities, including an expert panel discussion, the Triflex waterproofing exhibition booth, and a technical workshop focused on PMMA waterproofing technology.
VIVABLAST’s Perspective at “The Enablers: From Materials to Megawatts” Panel Discussion

As part of the event, Boris Vivares – Group General Director of VIVABLAST, joined the panel discussion titled “The Enablers: From Materials to Megawatts”, which explored the role of advanced materials, technologies, and implementation capabilities in large-scale sustainable construction.
The session provided practical insights into how engineering solutions and industrial materials contribute to transforming sustainability goals into long-term operational performance. One of the key messages highlighted during the discussion was that sustainable construction depends not only on materials themselves, but also on how technologies are applied under real operating conditions.
Through this panel discussion, VIVABLAST reaffirmed its commitment to supporting businesses with high-performance industrial solutions designed to meet long-term operational and durability requirements.
Triflex Booth – A Hub for Sustainable Waterproofing Discussions

At the exhibition area, VIVABLAST showcased waterproofing solutions from Triflex, attracting strong interest from industry professionals, partners, and businesses across the construction and industrial sectors.
The solutions presented at the event focused on sustainable waterproofing performance for industrial and commercial facilities, particularly in tropical climates and demanding operating environments. Triflex PMMA technology stood out for its fast-curing properties, seamless application, and ability to minimize operational interruptions during repair and refurbishment works.
Beyond product presentation, the booth also became a space for in-depth discussions on real-world waterproofing challenges, including roof penetrations, complex structural details, and the need to extend asset service life. These conversations highlighted the growing market demand for long-lasting waterproofing solutions that optimize maintenance costs and improve operational reliability.
Triflex Technical Workshop on Waterproofing Solutions for Industrial Facilities

One of VIVABLAST’s key activities at Build to Last 2026 was the afternoon technical workshop presented by Thomas Demelle – Technical Director of Triflex APAC.
The workshop “Protect Your Assets – Rely on the Xperts for Waterproofing” focused on common waterproofing challenges in industrial facilities, particularly at roof penetrations and complex structural details — areas where failures are most likely to occur if not properly treated.
During the session, VIVABLAST and Triflex demonstrated how PMMA technology can be applied to create seamless, durable waterproofing systems suitable for facilities requiring continuous operations. The solution helps reduce maintenance costs, minimize downtime, and extend long-term asset service life.
The strong engagement from workshop attendees reflected the growing interest in high-performance waterproofing solutions capable of meeting technical, durability, and sustainability requirements in industrial operations.
